Plough - Works and Types of plough

 Plough is an essential machinery and plays a very crucial role in preparing the land for seed sowing. Traditionally plough was made up of the wooden frame and was drawn by oxen or horses, but nowadays all the plough are made of steel or iron and is driven or pulled with tractor power.

Another reason for using no-till equipment is that while performing tillage or deep ripping, the pores created by earthworms and microorganisms that serve as a conduit for water to go down deep into the soil are destroyed. It reduces the water-absorbing capacity of the soil, causing erosion. Most common no-till equipment are disc seed drill, zero till drill or planter.
